New redundancy pay rates and compensation limits announced
The Government has announced the updated rates for statutory
redundancy payments, and increases to the maximum compensation
payable in claims of unfair dismissal. The rates change on
1st February 2009, and affect all redundancies and
dismissals after that date. The current and new rates are set out
in the table below:
