Cameron launches new help for SMEs to get government
contracts
The Prime Minister, David Cameron, today (11th February)
announced new help to encourage more SMEs to bid for government
contracts. Among the package of measures are a new online tool to
display every government tender opportunity and an email alert
facility to let businesses know when new opportunities in their
area of business come up.
In addition, there are proposals to simplify the
prequalification process for government contracts and to introduce
an online questionnaire that will only need completing once, rather
than on every occasion a tender is submitted.
