Making things simple with MentorLive
The final instalment in our series of "Did you know" guides
explores the eLearning area of MentorLive and explains how
you can make the best of these resources to support your
business.
DID YOU KNOW…?
MentorLive gives you access to a growing range
of eLearning modules that you can use to provide training to your
employees
- eLearning involves working through short training courses using
your pc.
- Our e-learning modules will support your use of
MentorLive as well as giving you some foundation level
training in various Health & Safety and Employment Law & HR
topics.
- The modules are designed to take no more than 30-40 minutes to
complete. You can choose to complete the whole course or just the
parts of the courses that are relevant to you at that point in
time. You can then login at a later stage, as and when you have the
time and need to find out more, and can then continue your
learning.
- If you wish to use the courses to train your employees, you can
give them a login using the MentorLive functionality
available to your organisation's MentorLive
administrator.
- If you have a large number of employees that you wish to take
the training, we can provide a report, on request, of who has done
the course and what score they have achieved. This can be
especially important for showing you have met your Health &
Safety obligations regarding training your staff.
Don't forget to come back to the eLearning home page every few
months as further courses will be added.
How can I do this?
Our eLearning modules are easy to find:
- Login to MentorLive; then
- Click on the "eLearning" tab along the top of the screen;
then
- Click on "launch eLearning module"
You can now view the menu of courses available and begin
whatever course you choose.
What are the benefits to my business?
It's quick, easy and cost-effective. For many
training requirements, eLearning is a really efficient way of
getting it done, and it doesn't involve the costs necessary for
other training methods.
You can do the training in your own time and
space. eLearning can be done anywhere you have access to a
pc, and at whatever time of day suits you.
