available with 50% funding from Skills Development Scotland, when
you book before Saturday 31 March 2012*.
Skills Development Scotland (SDS) is offering Scottish
businesses with less than 150 employees financial help with their
training costs with 50% funding up to the value of £500 per
course.

Course Contents
Everyday Employment Law – covers the basics of
Employment Law that an owner or manager needs to be aware of
including pre-employment checks, contracts of employment, working
time, National Minimum Wage, work and families, sickness and
grievance and disciplinary.
Practical People Management – this equips
owners or managers with the skills to manage performance, deal with
absences, conduct difficult conversations, hold disciplinary
meetings and take disciplinary action.
Practical Environmental Awareness – being
environmentally aware can help you cut costs and win new business.
This course gives you a grounding in Environmental Awareness and
shows you how to create your own organisational environmental
plan.
