Mandi Silverwood
Employment Law & HR Consultant
Mandi joined Mentor in 2004 before which she worked in various
human resources roles for 16 years in different sectors including
manufacturing, rail services, call centres and transport &
distribution. Mandi has had a great deal of experience in dealing
with high volume HR issues including discipline and grievance,
absence management, and implementation and development of HR
policies and procedures. Mandi has developed and delivered a number
of training events for clients based on these topics. She also
holds a postgraduate diploma in Personnel & Development.
H. Sanghera MCIPD BA (Hons)
Employment Law & HR Consultant
'H' has worked in Human Resources since 1995 with experience in
all aspects of Employment Law. 'H' has developed his career in both
the Manufacturing and the Service sector dealing with issues such
as large scale redundancies, implementing EU directives, Harassment
and Bullying cases. He has developed and delivered training on all
aspects of Human Resources and has a particular interest in
equalities and diversity issues.
Rhona Ulyett LLB (Hons) DHRM
Employment Law & HR Consultant
Rhona joined Mentor in 2001 before which she worked for 11 years
in Human Resources for the motor manufacturing and food industries
and latterly for the call centre arm of a major retail chain. She
has run in house training on discipline and grievance, absence
management and appraisal skills for a wide range of employees from
Directors to shop floor supervisors.
Yvonne Banks LLB ( Hons)
Employment Law & HR Consultant
Yvonne has worked in HR since 1991 gaining experience in a
variety of roles within the HR function. Prior to Mentor she worked
with various blue chip companies where latterly she managed teams
of HR Advisors specialising in integrated Absence
Management/Occupational Health as well as managing a national team
of Consultants who case managed Grievance and Discipline cases.
Yvonne has designed and delivered a wide variety of training
material across the whole spectrum of managerial spans of control
from induction of first line managers to senior strategists across
different functions in the companies.

Dave Whitfield
Health & Safety Consultant
Dave served a four year apprenticeship as a Vehicle Mechanic
before joining the Army, serving 22 years with the Royal Electrical
and Mechanical Engineers (REME) On retiring from the armed forces
in 1998, Dave started work as a Health and Safety Manager on a
single-site for a global aerospace corporation, progressing to
Group Safety Manager and holding responsibility for all their UK
sites within two years.
For the last 14 years, Dave has been fully involved in his local
IOSH Branch (Merseyside Branch) where he has held the position of
Branch Chair and continues to serve on the branch executive
committee.
Dave joined NatWest Mentor in 2010 and his current role is as a
Health and Safety Consultant. He is a Chartered Member of IOSH and
is already registererd on the Occupational Safety and Health
Consultants register (OSHCR).
Peter Nicholls
Health & Safety Consultant
Peter has over 11 years experience in the field of Health and
Safety. After moving into this field in 2000 his experience has
included a number or SHEQ roles within the manufacturing /
biotechnology sector. In 2004 Peter began working as a Health &
Safety Consultant in the agricultural sector; working with farms,
light engineering and woodworking sectors. Peter regularly delivers
Mentor SHE courses, including IOSH Managing Safely and
Environmental Awareness.
Peter joined NatWest Mentor in 2006 and his current role is as a
Safety, Health and Environmental Consultant. He is a Chartered
Member of IOSH and is already registererd on the Occupational
Safety and Health Consultants register (OSHCR).
Ron Mott
Health & Safety Consultant
Ron worked for a large supermarket organisation for a number of
years , being initially involved with Food Safety Management before
moving into the Health and Safety field and becoming the District
Safety Officer. He later became Regional safety Advisor for the
East Midlands. Ron then moved into local authority, working for a
Borough Council, and became involved with Health and Safety
enforcement across a wide range of business sectors.
Ron joined NatWest Mentor in 2003 and his current role is as a
Safety, Health and Environmental Consultant. He is a Chartered
Member of IOSH and is already registererd on the Occupational
Safety and Health Consultants register (OSHCR).
